Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using thredly's API service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

thredly provides a REST API for accessing publicly available data from the Threads platform. The service is distributed through RapidAPI and deployed on Cloudflare's global edge network.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

  • Use the API only for lawful purposes and in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Not exceed your plan's rate limits or attempt to circumvent usage restrictions.
  • Not use the service to harass, stalk, or harm individuals.
  • Not redistribute raw API access or resell the service without written permission.
  • Comply with Meta's Terms of Service regarding Threads data.

4. API Usage & Rate Limits

Each subscription plan includes specific rate limits and monthly quotas. Exceeding these limits may result in throttled requests or temporary suspension. Persistent abuse may lead to account termination.

5. Service Availability

We target 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party dependencies, force majeure, or the Threads platform itself.

6. Intellectual Property

Data accessed through the API belongs to its respective content creators and Meta. thredly does not claim ownership of Threads content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of retrieved data complies with applicable copyright and data protection laws.

7. Payment & Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed through RapidAPI per their billing terms. Refunds are handled according to RapidAPI's refund policy. Free tier usage does not require payment information.

8. Limitation of Liability

thredly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the preceding 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these terms. You may cancel your subscription at any time through RapidAPI. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or service notification.
